The pot-o-gold... after months and months of searching

I won't go into detail about why each song was chosen for this list, quite frankly I can't remember. What I do remember, however, is that I still listen to each of these songs frequently, much more than other songs I've found from this satiable year. A few became instant classics (i.e. Ambling Alp, Solitude is Bliss, Bloodbuzz Ohio), which may be due to the fact they were released early in the year and prepped the summer drives/karaoke. Others will indefinitely become instant classics to me (i.e. Skinny Love, Spanish Sahara, Put The Days Away).
I do recognize that I may have missed a few classics in eyes other than my own. This is to be expected. Anyways, enjoy what the year has brought and look forward to a new year of optimism (no matter how the economy looks)!!

Note: Broken Bells (4 times), The National (3 times), The Local Natives (4 times)... Also, not a lot of Rap on the list because there could be a separate Top 50 for Rap that would be just as good as this list.
